In this article, I am taking you to Paris, especially in the heart of the 19th district and around the St Martin’s canal. It’s a part of town that I particularly ador because we can observe the passers, enjoying the fleeting sun’s rays that come and go at their own time … and yes that’s how is Paris ! Yet this day that I share with you, now being end of September, is a nice reflection of the Indian summer.
To enjoy at 100% this beautiful day we decided to rent an electric boat on the Bassin de la Villette in Marin freshwater (open all day) and so along the waterfront to watch the barges, moored to docks, which for some are habitable, and it really makes you want to buy one and settle down just right here …!
While waiting for our little boat to be ready, we stopped for lunch at the retaurant Corso and thus to energize before the boat trip. By the way, I have to say to the friendliness of the waiters, the perfect service and food to die for ! I highly recommend it.
Later in the day, after having superbly relaxed aboard our ship, we set off on the way back …. And, discovered an original super shopping destination and at a low price ! The shop is called “The Mutant” and from the outside looks like a vintage store. Once inside, and talking to Helen, the saleswoman, we realize that these are series from mottled designers ! The Pearl ! On top of it, the price oscillated between 5 and 40 euros for the most original pieces like a skirt or a cashmere sweater ! A little extra that makes the originality of the store, the walls are covered with comics ! Address: 65 rue de Lancry, 75010 Paris
I think you’ll also see soon, the result of this shopping in a future article !
